Join us in building the Golden Age
What we believe in
Here at The Golden Age, we believe in people. We believe in our ability to fix problems, build solutions, and improve our standard of living. We believe self-reliance is a foundation individuals must have to reach their potential and contribute to society. We know every single person is unique and that there is only a limited time for each individual to leave their mark on the world and contribute with their ideas. Hence, we believe every single individual can contribute unique solutions to the problems around them.
We believe in communities coming together and building solutions to their problems. We believe in investing for the long term, sound money, and human desire to constantly innovate, improve, and optimize.
We believe in a government that protects personal property and the individual’s freedom to make their own choices, learn, and improve.
What we are building
Given that every individual can contribute something unique to the world, we want to maximize each individual's freedom to do so and provide them with an infrastructure to find problems they can solve, people to solve them with, and financial capital to sustain their efforts.
We are building a community of innovators, builders, and problem solvers who want to fix the underlying causes of the symptoms we see around us rather than waiting for someone else to come “save” them.
The Golden Age’s role in the community
First, we focus on breaking down the primary and secondary sources in business and government reports, research papers, bills and legislation, books, and interviews to help us understand current events at their core. This helps us understand the underlying issues we must solve.
Second, we provide the requirements that must be met to solve those issues, and possible solutions grounded in first principles.
Third, we provide the education you need to become a more effective innovator.
Principles that guide us
First principles
First principles is a problem-solving approach that involves breaking down complex ideas, problems, or processes into their most basic, fundamental parts. Once you identify these core truths—things that cannot be reduced further—you reason upwards from there, building understanding and solutions step by step, without relying on assumptions or inherited beliefs.
